No. If history has proven anything it is that when cultures meet one must overtake the other. Usually the one with the best technology will win, rewrite history from their own point of view (thus erasing that culture's history), and absorb the parts of that culture they like or can use. A smaller world means more cultures must interact. World peace existed only when mankind was so spread out we didn't know of other cultures. Even then we still managed to kill each other. I mostly agree with D4. The main groups that didn't fight in history were the ones that didn't interact. Now that everyone is more connected I think this will only bring more conflict.
