Well I am super oily and I use a few products made by Clinique....T-Zone shine control, this is something you can put under or over your makeup, it's a small tube and a little goes a very long way, you should just concentrate using it on your nose forehead and maybe chin, you don't need to slather it all over your cheeks too, and they have an oil-controlling foundation called Super Fit, it's wonderful, it's actually their number one selling foundation formula. It's oil free and has a natural matte finish AND it's not just makeup sitting on your face, it's actually working to absorb oil as you wear it! Last but not least, Clinique makes a wonderful sheer, pressed powder that you can set your Super Fit with, it's called Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder. This is oil free also, and this helps control oil as well as the foundation! Works great. They also have blotting papers that work really well that I use. It would cost you $65 plus tax for all 4 products, but guess what, you'd actually be set for approximately 6-8 months if you use them correctly, and don't waste the products. That's a maximum of $0.35 a day! :) Good Luck!

If you are having really bad shininess from oil, try Origins Zero Oil. It costs about $10. & lasts a long time because you use very little. Put it on before you make-up.
Also to matte down the shine during the day, use blotting sheets that made of rice paper. They sell these lots of places.
My fave foundation is Exuviance. I have oily skin & these are some of the tricks that I use. This foundation stays on all day, really well until I take it off at night. Awesome flawless coverage. I have tried almost every foundation made & this is my all time fave. They also make a powder but I don't use it very often because the foundation is quite matte.
Hope you find this helpful

Find a good mattifying moisturiser to prepare your skin with, sweep some powder over your face before your foundation to blott off any oil there already. Shop for a mattifying foundation - there are some good powder based ones, but there is no reason that you shouldnt find a liquid or cream-to-powder. Don't go for the very cheapest though.
Set your foundation with powder after application and maybe consider investing in a mattifying gel for your handbag? I love Lancome's T-controle. Blotting sheets are good for very hot days too.

I'm not too sure how your skin deals with liquid foundation, but I have oily skin too and I break out when I use it. If all you want to do it hide the shine then I recommend you use a loose powder (i.e. the kind you see in Bare Minerals commercials). I myself just use Covergirl's loose powder (w/ a big powder brush).

Definitely go for a matte finish foundation. Not only does it help to decrease shine, if you have any imperfections on your face, it helps to hide them better. Definitely use a translucent powder to set your foundation, which helps it to stay longer and decreases shine as well.
Mineral make-up I hear is really great for that and is long lasting too. I haven't tried it but I think it's definitely something to look into.
Good Luck!

I think Mary-Kay is okay.If not try a water based foundation so that it won't clog your pores.Or a non-oily moisturiser?
