It's not really that big an age gap, and as you grow older the age gap diminishes. It is only strange if you make it so, or if you think that the older guy wants something from you. I don't think age should be a barrier for friendships. Not if you have things in common and enjoy each other's company.

Yes I do think it's strange at this impressionable age.
This is a co-dependant friendship with the older guy not being able to make friends with people his own age, and the younger guys relying on the 22 year old for money and thinking it's great that they don't have to make choices.

No it's not strange. When I was 22 I still had the mentality of a teenager anyway.

No, I say that as long as you guys get along, it really doesn't matter about the age difference. It is better to have a couple close friends then many acquaintances.

not really. overall its the same age group. 16 or 15 is strange like a red flag. as long as he's not gay its not very suspicious.

I have friends who are 17 and Im 22
sometimes it seems weird,
but hey....good friends are hard to find.

i dont think so, im 21 and one of my best friends is 18 dont judge people by their age if they are mature then its all good
