TRue Liberals have those characteristic. I known a couple who would sacrifice their life for what they believe in. The problem is that a large percent of the so called liberals support that ideology for their own selfish desires. You know, take advantage of tax payers.
Remember; good Liberals truely believe in helping the world and good conservative believe in helping their neighbors.

all the far left liberals I know are very brave. many of them, including my mother and father in-law marched for civil rights in the 1960's when it was very dangerous. And, all the liberals I know are also Christian. The term "think globally, act locally" is a liberal term to make the world a better place than what you came into it. I think the integrity and courage that is missing today is coming from the right wing. They have big mouths spewing a lot of hatred but very little action when it comes to making this world a better place for all and not just the few very rich people and corporations.

Many far left liberals experienced 9/11 first hand and rescued and donated blood and helped injured people. NYC is mostly far left liberals....Do you think you should try taking people on a one by one basis and not deciding the values and integrity based on your presumptions?

Those are personality traits that cannot be taught, they are in-born and engrained in the psyche of the decent human being and, therefore, cannot be defined as liberal.
