how will our economy grow if our government spends a lot of money for campaigning?

It wont. Maybe if we elect someone who actually cares about the people, the economy will grow. But instead we have to decide between two corrupt parties that lie to the people & whore themselves out to corperations.

campaign money comes largely from large corporations and interest groups. when the president is elected, those corps. are given contracts to produce: weapons, cars, airplanes, meatpacking, etc. so the campaign process actually pumps more money and life into the money making/spending capitalist machine. the problem being that they money continues to be circulated amongst the very rich.
