Oddly enough Bush's accent to power mirrors Hitlers in many ways. Almost as if he were using his history as a playbook. In 1936 everyone loved Hitler. Germany was on it's knees and the world's laughing stock. He reinstated a since of pride and morality in the german ppl to the point they stopped questioning his motives (like we gave Bush unlimited power). Hitler invaded Poland claiming it was Germany's right and thus not getting any international flack and gaining an alliance with Italy and Russia. Not unlike our invasion of Iraq. Hitler formed the SS. An elite inteligence agency that answered only to him and had limitless powers. Sounds alot like the homeland security ("homeland"-"fatherland"). He convinced the ppl the "export" of the jews was for germany's best interest; not unlike Bush pushing the acceptance of illegal aliens on us "for America's own good". We know what Hitler was hiding with reguard to the jews--what is Bush hiding?
When Bush stood befor the UN and said"You are either with us or you are irrelevant", then blew off the lack of WMD's, refuses to work with the democratic congress, and even ignored popular opinion that we want our troops home by implimenting a "surge". We know how the Hitler story ended; for him as well as Germany. How will this play out?

I have to agree with Just me's answer. I can't think of anyone who stirs up more trouble between human beings than these two guys. If racism died tonight I believe they'd be holding up it's corpse in the morning trying to convince people it was still alive...

Hitler slaughtered 3 million Jews. Have you read history at all? Bush helped, along with other nations, over through a ruthless dictator and set a people free. How is it possible to compare the two? There is no equivalent to a Hitler in modern day America.

Depends on your criteria. There are several psychotic mass murderers that could qualify. Also people who genuinely feel they are superior. And there are racists (with less power but with same intents, if given the chance).

Nah, Bush isn't smart enough. He's just a pawn ... more of a Neville Chamberlain crossed with Cheetah the monkey.
Cheney, he's the American version of Hitler!

our government is suppose to have a system of checks and balances to prevent a person like that from coming into power. that's way freedom of speech and the right to vote is so important.
