If so, then how do they know if they're responding to what they're telling them?

My sister does. She sweet talks all of her house plants and vegetables in her garden. I can tell you that it does indeed make a difference. Last summer here in Idaho most everyone had a very poor year with tomatoes. ah, but my sister, all of her veggies grew abundantly, healthy, sweet,Delicious. When I help her in her garden to pick tomatoes and I accidentally step on one of her plants she screams at me like I just hit her kid, seriously she loves and adores all of her plants and they love her back!

Anyone can talk to plants.

If you think they can hear you, or they talk back.....then I'm calling the nice men in the white coats.

MythBusters actually did a thing on that a few years ago, and there was absolutely no difference.

Of course people talk to their plants. Don't you?

How do you know if they have responded? When you smoke 'em!

Plant's have no nervous system so there is no possible way for them to hear anything or respond to anything.

My ex wife used to talk to plants. They did not pay much attention to her, but neither did I. Difference was they did not leave the room while she talked. And talked.

talking to a plant is helpful, not because it understands you,but that it thrives on the air you breath out
