i want to see other guys naked. is that normal? and i look forward to the shower rooms at school. i dont think im gay but... and i like comparing my thing to other guys... is that normal?

I think every guy goes through a curious phase, wanting to see how he measures up. Nothing wrong with that. Looking forward to showering with other guys is another thing altogether. Take note if you're starting to fantasize about what you see in the shower.

IT always amazes me how shallow most people are to genuine question. First of all, you have already heard it's pretty normal to want to check out other guys' packages, that's normal. It's also normal to occasionaly have urges to experience things with another guy, without being gay. Contrary to what it seems like most people seem to be saying. A good majority of teens go through a sexual experimentation stage at some point. How far they go is as varied as who goes through it. Most guys won't admit it, for fear of being labeled gay, but it has been and will continue to be a natural part of being a teenager. I wouldn't advise broadcasting this info though as you've already seen what it does. The majority of ignorant people tend to label it as one thing when they don't understand the actual basis of this condition. For more research check out the Kinsey report of sexuality for starters and go from there. I got a BA in psychology and worked at few social work firms along the way that specialized in helping teens through these situation, especially the ones that get out of hand like when the school blabber mouth finds out. Nine times out of ten, IF there is any trauma involved in going through these growing phases it most often comes from the stigma that is imposed rather than the actual event. Don't sweat it, a lot of guys have j/o buddies and more and you'll never know. IN fact, research has shown that those teens who goe through an experimental stage in their youth, are much more sure of their orientation in adult life. It's the ones that live under the social stigmas that never experience their curiosities that tend to have problems later on. They say you never have a best friend like you do in jr hi, nuff said. Theres one thing comparing yourself to other guys and another to look forward to the shower room. I think you are gay and denying it. Just be honest with yourself and everything will be ok.

I think so because everybody goes through this phase at some point but maybe you should sit down with a counselor and figure out if you are gay or not... you may be right and not be gay but try to figure this out so you won't wonder for the rest of your life. Good luck Sweetheart hope this helps.

Um yeah its normal, i wouldn't suggest doing what the first dude said if you start wacking your self off they will think your a creepy gay kid!( if your gay or not no offence by the creepy remark) Just that wacking in public might not be a good idea gay or straight!

I think most guys are curious about whether their tackle is of an adequate size, but maybe you are showing homosexual tendencies, which is quite OK. You might like to speak anonymously with a counselling service about this, if you are confused.
