Not necessarily meaning your fans here, but it's a start I suppose...

I'd say," Get a life". Mature people don't need heroes or idols.
The only fans I need are the ones which keep me cool when I turn them on.
Sorry to be a stick in the mud.

Go home, live your lives! You are not going to be happy living vicariously through other people. You may like the music or movies or what not, but it shouldn't take a big chunk out of your life. Do something with your time! Spend time with family, friends, get more education, work, exercise, play sports!

I would say thank you all for the support, the loyalty you have given me, where would i be without you all, and at the end of the day you still remain my fans, but let me just say to you all.... i am your biggest fan and love you all.

I'd fan my face with my hand while I pretended to cry and say "oh wowzo, where do I start?, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for thee endless unicorns parties you made possible, I'd be nothing w. out you... I'll be signing things in the back at the merch table" yep, that's what I'd say, oh look, I just said it.

Weeelll, thaaank you for being my fans. This proves that you have gooood taste in choosing me as your one and only idol, bar none. Please watch out for my new and you will see what makes me better than anyone else. I am par excellence at my field, non? Henceforth I would like to thank for my hair and makeup, for my abs, and for my dinner tonight.

I would tell them how grateful I was that they were "there" for me...and that I will continue to do my best..and to keep right on doing the same things that I have done before to make them happy and laugh and smile!

( I have fans,....I do storytelling, and kids mostly are my audiences...but adults are too..) they make MY day when they tell me how much they enjoy my storytelling...they are gifts to me...as well as their joy and love!

I would treat them the same as non fans and say the same things too. Anything else would be patronising.

Dear fans, thank you for keeping me cool, especially during the summer months. May you continue to cool until such time as I live in air conditioning...
