problem showing picture?

any web sites have picture i can't see at all.did i need to install java or flash also when i try to play video on youtube web site it need flash player.can the system administrator block both on my computer.and how i can solve this??regards

ok, first of all i would need you to open your internet explorer and check some things for me.
open IE, click on tools, then internet options, advanced tab.
under the advanced tab look for "multimedia" and under multimedia check to see if "show pictures" have been checked. If not then please check it and restart IE.
