The X1300Pro should have no problem playing back HD-Video at low resolution such as 480p. You will however need a computer with a very fast dual-core processor for smooth playback of higher resolution HD-video using that card.

I read a review of the MSI X1300 Pro in a magazine and it didn't do well on HD-playback but only because CPU usage was very high using the card on a system with a Intel Core2 Duo E6400 when rendering 1080p with hardware acceleration enabled. To be fair this could have been a driver related issue but over all the X1300 is a low end card.

The only other reason that you might not be able to view HD content with the card is HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection).

I hope that helps.
