if i could only change the way i feel..to be happy that is..then i would die for it

but then what would be the point of that...

emotions can and never lie...they can pretend but never lie deep inside

they are true..deep inside...

Depressed people are usually interesting people to talk to however, I would still hope that he is seeking treatment. I would feel bad if he lived his entire life thinking that a state of sadness/unhappiness is the best he can have...

***addition: That's one of the problems with depression. Depressed people think that it's just the way they are, and often, depressed individuals actually fear that becoming happy will make them lose some of the attributes that they LIKE about themselves. It's not true, though. You can still be cynical, thoughtful, sensitive, or whatever and happy. Being NOT depressed, doesn't mean you'll always be happy, but a little happiness is good for everyone.

Considering about 75% of the population seeks treatment for depression and it's the most common problem that doctors see, I would find you quite normal. I wouldn't even notice.

girls tend to LOVE to help guys with their problems and think an emotional guy is a huge turn on ..so if u can be helped ur cured im sure they'll love you ..but if u drag it on far to long and dont let them help they'll get annoyed but like i said if u can be cure of ur depression you'll be a shoe in! =)

Depression does not define a person. However, I think anyone who suffers from this needs lots of love and support!!!

Sorry, but it is a big turnoff. Always fake it or at least try to. Depressing people turn other people off.

They are fine as long as they are actively seeking help for their depression.

should not stick to that emotion.. gotta move on..
