I think I have everything hooked up to the mother board right. It is a DG965 WH Intel. The power supply is installed and hooked up to each component. I flip the switch in the back and press power in the front and nothing. I keep going over it but can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

As for the grounding screws, could you explain how that could go wrong? Also, the voltage is right, it is plugged in. There is a green light on the motherboard. So do you guys think it has something to do with those jumpers that connect to the power, reset, etc.... Thanks again for the help.

Did you make sure to plug the cables from the power on button to the correct jumpers? They are usually very small so while it may look like you have they may not be. Also, does it not do anything at all? Some motherboards have a light indicating they have power, does yours?

I have had similar problems.

Once I spent nearly an hour double checking all the internal wiring when I discovered I had forgotten to connect the main cord; that plugs into the power supply box on the outside, then plug it into the wall.

I was just too eager that day.

Another time I bested that by having had the wall socket end plugged into the wall, but forget to attach it to power supply box.
I did not see it laying back of the computer.

Is the polarity right on the wires that attach the power switch to the motherboard? That's the only thing I can think of right now.

I doubt it would matter to powering the comp, but might want to check the reset switch and the LEDs too.

Sometimes if the mobo is not grounded with the screws of the case. correctly it wont power up.. or Check power to the pc, (outlet has power), Check the Mobo is plugged in to the power supply.. Check that the power switch is plugged in correctly.. (I had mine reversed once...) Thats about all I know.. Its probably the grounding screws if you checked everything else..
