Better go for a new one as the experience tells that the refilled toner does not perform well.

Is it a toner or an inkjet? If it is a smaller ink jet that uses liquid ink. Then yet. Providing.

That cartridge is already printing well
The cartrige has never been refilled.
You have a refill kit that is tailored to your model of printer.
You are comfortable with refilling.

Refilling can be messy and if you do not know what you are doing, the cartridge may leak causing damage to your printer. If a cartridge is already printing poorly refilling will not remedy that, rather provided more ink so it can continue printing poorly.
If you have a lexmark cartridge no 16/17 then they do leak after filling, you will need to let it settle on a paper or some other absorbent surface overnight to allow the excess to leak out.

its cheaper to refill by far but their are some probs first they are done by weight it sounds funny but true. my buddy has a refill pack so i went and tried i got the color 3/4 full and the balk1/4 only after the ink came out of every or-face of it ..and if it ever leaks inside your printer well that's not good.i find it safer to just buy new.my inks cost me 60$ so i i find a good deal on a new printer with a rebate less than 100$i just get a new one

depends on what you plan to use the printer for. if you plan on doing a lot pictures ( and need the better quality ) then you should spend the extra bucks for the original manufactures cartridges. if you mostly just print letters and forms ( text and graphics ) then save the bucks and get generic cartridges or refill your old ones ( but depending on your printer model you may also need a resetting gun or kit) OK
HAVE A NICE DAY ! ! ! P.S. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Refills work OK. Only problem is when you refill you have to pierce cartrage with a needle, when you remove the needle the hole is still there, therefore the ink will evaporate, so the refills do not last as long.

Best to learn how to fill it up and do it on your own.
