i really liked it, too. loved the action sequence and yes, it was kind of like the matrix although i like the storyline better.

The Cleric would kick Neo's a** any day hands down. Neo was supposedly able to dodge bullets when inside the matrix. The clerics were trained to not be where the bullet is fired before it leaves the barrel in the real world, not some computer simulation.
Overall, it's an okay movie about emotions being what makes us different from robots or animals, but sometimes stoicism can be useful.

I love this movie! Considering it had such a tiny budget, they really achieved a lot. I think a lot of the credit for that must go to Christian Bale, Emily Watson and Sean Bean, all excellent actors. I also loved Taye Diggs performance - he has the craziest smile I've ever seen. The concept of Gun Kata is just really cool. I wish the end fight with Du Pont could have been a bit more convincing, but otherwise it's a great film. Definitely one of my favourites.

its kind of hard to compare the two besides the fact that they were both set in the future. but the fight moves in this movie were just ridiculous. its a shame it didnt blow out of proportion like the matrix did.

great movie, just wished they would have had a bigger budget, and a better special effects team ( lucas style!) then we would have gotten to see two sequels to Equil. instead of that damn neo and who he's "the one" poo
