Whats the differents between cryptologist and cryptanalysis???

From the dictionary we get:

Cryptography
the science or study of the techniques of secret writing, esp. code and cipher systems, methods, and the like.

Cryptanalysis
the procedures, processes, methods, etc., used to translate or interpret secret writings, as codes and ciphers, for which the key is unknown.

So cryptography is encoding and cryptanalysis is decoding.
