Hi! Well, I was wondering if author J.K Rowlings is going to be here in any area in Los Angeles, California. To sign her last 7th book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" to her fans. To be honest, I ain't a Potter fan like you guys. But the reason I'm asking is because my Lady likes these books. She has all up to the 6th book. She told me she was going to get her copy on her own. But I want to get it for her autographed by J.K Rowlings herself. Please do tell me if she is to be around here in the Los Angeles area. I'm imploring you. This will mean a lot to me. Honestly. Thanks for droppin' by. Please do tell either way whether she'll be here in the States. I mean any where in the States. Thanks again. Peace!

NO WAY sorry guy!!! She states on her web site that she doesn't do that anymore!! She only does it now for charity and then auctions off the book for the charity. You can check out her web site and contact scholastic which is her publisher.
Just an added note- I went to her site after writing this. She said she went to New York to see her publisher and that was it. She has NO plans to go outside the UK again because she doesn't like to travel on a plane with her two kids (can't say I blame her) So I am sorry to say you are out of luck. Unless you go to the UK. But then there is no guarantee you could get a book signed.

Visit her site. I dont think JK does many signings. It's a nice sentiment though for your girlfriend. Im sure she would enjoy it but I dont think you'll find her out signing many books. She really doesnt have to. She is rather reclusive - especially since she remarried so Im told. You could however make sure you get your girlfriend a first edition or an English edition rather than an American. That's special.

It is probably a little early to be asking that. Wait for it to get closer to the release date and any info about book signings she might have will be more readily available.
