Generally speaking, I like a good debate, and I respect the veiws of others. But there are times I come across someone who won't hear another view (even to come up with an intelligent counterpoint to it) and who feels the need to mindlessly insult what I have to say instead of discussing it rationally (spend five minutes in the Religion and Spirituality category, and you'll meet a bunch of people like that). That's when I'm bothered by people who disagree with me.

Only when they're disagreeing- for the sake of argument. I can respect anothers point of view, or opinion- or thought out line of thinking. But when someone disagrees just for the sake of shooting off their mouths- I feel my time is being wasted. And there are a LOT of people out there- whose mouths are the only part of them that get any exercise.

Not at all.. Ok well..... sometimes..
Depends on who it is and what it is about.

Generally if someone gives me their opinion, I sometimes learn something or see things in a different light.
