Sometime leopard geckos won't eat for a few days when you first get them. It's because they are adjusting to their new surroundings. They normally eat at night also so she might be eating at night while you are asleep. Or take just one cricket and put it in the cage. Leave it in there until she eats it. It won't kill the lizard it's just one cricket. She will eat it when she gets hungry. If none of that works try getting a jar of baby food that is chicken flavored. put it on your finger tip and make her eat it.

kinda off topic... but thats why before i buy an exotic, ill have the cage already set up w perfect temps, then ill ask the breeder to feed it extra for a couple days, so after i can put it in and leave it for a couple days to limit relocation stress. Its very successful, by day 3 they are usually ready to accept feedings with no trouble. Try offering another hide... also most geckos are nocturnal... if your not already, try feeding under a red light. Also check the humidity... could be dehydration (also common when relocated) Give it a few days and if it doesnt improve take it to your local vet for a check up. Ask your breeder who he/she sees. Good luck with your new friend!

Well, it's only been four days... Geckos usually only need to be fed once to twice a week. I'm not sure what you're breeder told you but I wouldn't be concerned at this point. He's in a new environment, he's probably scared and was probably well-fed, if not over-fed, at his previous residence. It's really easy to make a gecko obese and you do NOT want to be an offender of this. It makes their life harder (not to mention shorter) in the long run.

since it extremely is not a query, perhaps you may seek for advice from a extra suitable source which comprise a puppy shop.... perhaps this leopard gecko isn't use to its environment you have all of a by surprise positioned it in. my advice is to make certain what it eats and shop it some organisation.... geckos love interest.

The temp might be right but have you put in any real plants or have something cave like for him to hide under? You have to make sure everything not just the temp is right in the tank.BTW I'm not saying to put real plants just asking if you have cause of possible problems

I wouldnt worry too much bout it. New surroundings are usually the fault. Temp should be round 80 deg.F in the cge. Mealworms shoul be a good enticement. Good luck and in a few days it should take food from your hand
