I have a IUD in right now and am working to get it taken out cause it is not where it should be, and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a easy yet safe birth control method.

I think that maybe you should try a birth control pill because it's easy to take, it's reversible, and if you have bad side effects you can stop taking it right away.

I think if you try the Depo Provera shot, you might not like it because it's semi-long term... so if you begin to gain weight, you won't be able to control it like you would do with a pill. Plus shots suck.

You could try the ring, but what happens if it moves? there's so much that could go wrong in my opinion. the same thing goes with the patch, it can fall off. I think with a pill, you at least know you're doing it right.

The Nuva Ring. Its great!!! I was afraid of IUD's because they can puncture your uterus and cause some serious damage. However, I have had problems remembering to take the pills.

The ring is a little difficult to get in at first and you have to keep it in the refrigerator of all places, but its worth it. It stays in for three weeks and just take it out to menstruate. The menstruation cycles are two or three days tops with next to no cramping at all.

I firmly believe that a women's natural cycle should not be interrupted for long periods of time. It just doesn't seem healthy. I totally swear by the ring. It's the best. :)

I tried all birth control methods except the Nuva RIng. My favorite was the diaphragm. Now it's vasectomy.

Really, every body is different so do not be afraid to try different methods. Give each one at least 3 months' time to find out if your body "likes" it.

You'll find the one that's right for you.

(If your IUD is not where it should be and you are sexually active you need to call/contact your doctor as soon as possible.)

best form of birth control adopted by indian tribals for millenium is

Cycle day 1 to 10, take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder in honey first thing in the morning.

That is all!

If cycle starts in the afternoon or evening, take it from day 2 to 11.

This ensures that ovum, if released will be infertile.

Once you stop this pill, same month you may become pregnant, if everything else goes right.

If you decide to take allopathic pills or depo shots, research well about side effects and reversibility.. there is a full group on yahoo about the women suffering from this approach..

i would recommend the pill because it has been around for about 40 years as opposed to the 5-10 years for the other types of bc. people like the shot but i have also heard bad things about it, such as weight gain, acne, irregular periods, super long periods (1 month or more), no periods at all. it is also known to decalcify your bones a little. i don't know much about the patch, but it would be my second choice after the pill. however all types of bc can have side effects, so it really varies from woman to woman what type of bc is right for her.

Ive done both pills and the patch. The patch has had a bunch of problems it seems lately... but I loved it. I just seemed to have moody swings on it so had to switch to the pill. I wish I had to take no birth control. :(

I took depovera injections for several years, and they were
great. You get an injection every three months. The best
part was that I didn't get my period either. Alot of women
think you have to have a period every month, but that just
isn't true. This type of birthcontrol was the best I ever used.
