When the last of us proles gasps out his last breath, drowning in an enclosed biosphere like yeast in a carboy, suffocating in his own boiling excrement, the last board of directors will be arguing over whose fault it is sales have dropped.
Business requires unlimited expansion to make continuous profits; who cares if we consume the entire Earth as long as they get their piece of the action?

Disasters and catastrophes will get the attention of the Business Sector if it is already affected.
