Have you ever fellt like someone was mistreating you because of your race,gender,looks,etc?

My friends all have husbands who make a lot of money, well more than my husband does. We are not struggling financially. Its just that when we go out and things its as if they feel like they have to pay our way or pay for dinner. I told my husband that it was starting to piss me off because we're not broke. Ugh it gets on my nerves because sometimes they act like they are so high class and we're not, as if we cant afford to go out to certain places w/ them. Theyre renting a trailor and we're buying our own house, thats all im gonna say. Have you gone through this before?

Sure, I am a teacher. Most of my friends who have graduated with me make more then I do. My friend who is an engineer makes three times my salary. So, I know where you are coming from.
Furthermore, I was beaten up in Russia for being a Jew and was calleda kike plenty of times here in America.
I've learned to deal with it.
