hey i have a central air unit that works off my furnace in a mobile home my air will not kick on the fuse is on the internal fuse is good we had freon put in yesterday and checked out also this happened once before and it was a loose wire which i can not find where do i look my boyfriend fixed it then but hes long gone now
please help soon and no smart remarks this is important my mother has cpod

Hi Kelley it would be very hard to tell you where there is a loose wire. There are not suppose to be any loose wires in the system. Your best bet would be to call a different HVAC tech. If the guy that came out added freon to your system and didnt look for a leak he didnt do his job. If installed properly AC units do not leak freon. I wish I could help you but there are too many unknowns about your system. How old is your system? How often have you had it serviced? Do you change your filters? Have you ever had the indoor coil cleaned? Your best bet is to call a different company to come out and look at it.

A loose wire in the system that is bad would be would be kicking out the fuse, you said the fuse was good so, that eliminates the fuse and, loose wires.
I'm guessing the air works off the plenium in the furnace so you'll have to trace it there. A separate but parasite unit.

The capacitor to the air could be bad, stopping the air from coming on. This would have to be checked by an air man. I would guess this is the problem.
