hey he broke up wid me a month n a half back and said he just wanna be frinds and i agreed as we were just seeing each other (not very serious) as we're in just 9th grade. so how do make him my very close and good buddy? i have tried and succeeded in lessening my feelings and as he broke up i feel e 2 wants just friendship....so what do i do next 2 get close 2 him as a frnd?? what topic would be appropriate 2 talk on phone? and what reason do i give 2 his mom if she pics up the phone????

You dont need to give his mom any reason to talk to him, just hat you want to talk to him. This may not develop into what you think it will. You could try the friend thing, but it may not end up that way and dont be shocked. It is truly rare that exs' wind up that good of friends unless its mutual, and most times one always feels more than the other. So i think, try it out as friends if it doesnt work, at least you gave this aged relationship its last umph!

Tell him just that, you now consider him a really good friend and would like to continue talking to him just as you would with any other guy friend. Does his mom need a reason you'd like to speak with him? I wouldn't think so. Just say Mrs.(insert name here) this is (your name) may I speak with (his name) please. And any topic you talk about with any guy friend would be appropriate. Just remember to step back if he gets another gf and don't dominate his time. That will be her job. You don't want him to end up resenting you if another girl breaks up with him because of you. And you must understand if she doesn't want him to have much of anything to do with you. Then when their relationship is over, and you haven't interfered ,he'll be more than happy to talk with you again.

whatever was there between u & ur ex, u want to 4get & be buddies, right? It shows dat u two were gd frnds but frndship turned into affair.
think urself, somewhere in ur heart, do u still feel for ur ex wid romanticism or not? if yes, then give each other some space & time & then see wat happens.
If no, then talk abt everything u used to discuss including love, I'd say, bcoz avoiding it will make u remember it more & more. bt in a frndly way, widout being emotional.
& abt his mother, if she picks up da phone, tell her dat u want to discuss abt study.

well sweetheart, why such a dilemme if u just wanna b friends with him?? There is no reason why u cant call your friend?? no reason to giv to her mom to talk on phone.... !!
Topic ./.. you shd just talk about other people and how do they act with u n others.. there are so many things.. watch movies together.. talk abt songs.. share things abt studies.. the best thing to talk to talk..is studies...trust me on that.

probably not.
if you guys are going to end up friends, its because you liek talking to eachother. what did you talk about when you were dating? movies? School? friends? takl about that.
just try to treat him no differently then you would your other friends. keep that in mind to keep yourself in check. we can all get a little crazy and ovethink things with exes.

Its very rare for someones to be best friends with someone hey dated, it doesn't work 99% of the time. Just to let you know, lets be friends is code for, i want nothing to do with you anymore...Leave him be and move on.....

talk about how ur day wnet and things. keep the convo light and fun. show him how fun hearted u can be. make jokes, laugh, no serious convos about what went wrong or whatever.
