Both are very selfish persons who even don't like anybody but themselves, always busy with intrigues and harming the others. Why this interest in DOB? Their interest amazes me. They keep asking mine too. They are from different departments at work.
Could it be possible for them to open a credit card with our names and DOB, as important data?

Tell them to mind their own business and if they keep it up, report them to HR for harassment and / or creating a hostile work environment.

If they have any access to your information from work (SSN on application or on file?) Then yes, they could be snooping for info. Just say that company policy forbids discrimination based on age, and therefore you do not have to reveal your age unless it is to the person hiring you. Since you are already hired, they can piss off.
Everytime they ask just come back with a quip about leap year, or ask them what they are thinking of buying you. I use the line "Old enough not to answer that question" and if they press I say "Lets take a little walk to the bosses office and see what this is about, because I've hinted that I don't like where this is going and you haven't backed off, maybe you need some help?" A formal report from you, and anyone else they do it to can set the tone that it will not be silently tolerated. And if your boss will blow it off if you say its about age, just say "inapropriate personal questions are being asked by another employee, please remind this person of the company policy so I can work without further harrassment"

DOB is used in all internet accounts, in some cases it could be asked to prove your identity in case of a lost password retrieval process. DOB is increasingly used as your unique identity in online accounts. So it is preferable to keep it safe with yourself. However you will miss occassional B'Day celebrations with your colleagues if you do so. But in uncertain situations it is better safe than sorry.
