Its okay - A testimate to friendship if you're into that sort of thing. Also it gives you a real-life, shocking look into foreign principles and discipline. It's a bit scary in how realistic it is.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a feel-good movie, forget it. If you want a scathing accusation of forgein criminal justice systems, then put it up there with "Red Corner" and "In The Name Of The Father."
This is a very serious movie and well done, but might be a bit too political.

It was an okay movie, but has a horrible ending that made me hate the whole movie. I saw it in theaters when it came out and left thinking it was a total waste of my money. The actresses were great, but the script itself was very lacking.

I saw this flick and really didn't enjoy it. The actresses were fine, but it was a depressing storyline and I wasn't really sure of the point of the movie. Perhaps the moral was "Don't travel to Asia." Who knows?

If by good you mean a meaningless waste of time, than yes. Otherwise, it wasn't good.
