The geforce 4 cards are AGP cards mostly. There are PCI versions but since PCI has been around more than a decade your computer definitely has PCI slots. If the card won't fit into your computer it is probably because your motherboard does not have an AGP slot (too old, too new or cheap pc) or because your AGP slot is already filled by another graphics card. An AGP slot is usually brown.

If your really want to know the model of the card you could remove the heat sink and fan and clean the thermal grease off the gpu. The numbers on the gpu will tell you what the model of the card is though I would not recommend this as you seem to be a newbie and i would need to reapply new new thermal grease to the heat sink to ensure optimal heat transfer.

You might see will see NVxx on the GPU where xx is a number representing the model:

* NV17 - GeForce4 MX (AGP4X)
* NV18 - GeForce4 MX (NV17 with AGP8X)
* NV19 - GeForce4 MX (NV18 with PCI Express via AGP-PCIe bridge)
* NV25 - GeForce4 Ti (AGP4X)
* NV28 - GeForce4 Ti (NV25 with AGP8X)

The only other way is to install the card into a pc which has an open AGP slot as well as installing the drivers.

Mail it to me I will tell you what it is... LOL.. Just kidding..

On the card there are numbers, Google those numbers untill you find something.. Check sites like ebay, for the pictures to see if it looks the same..
