I have three and even though it's not hot I still turn them on at night for background noise. I can't sleep when it's too quiet.

I own two. But I'm not using them now as it's just cool enough with the window open. I'll be pulling them out soon though as summer is just around the bend.
I love how so many people haven't read the full question and answer how many people are on their fan list.

Including ceiling fans, 6, but there could be some I don't remember. Not that it gets overly hot here, but I have an older dog that well, sometimes a fan is appreciated!

i always have like 5 or 6. my family has to have one in each room. they can't sleep with out them. and we need the rest for back ups just in case one dies.
