Praveen, missed the details, too..
This is about trust in any "circumstances"... :)
Not about honesty and loving oneself...

No. I've been "reviewing" my past, & seen a pattern of excessive naivette, altruism, decisions not carefully thought through, trusting people who were "charming" & seemed sincere, & so on. I have also gone against my "intuition," realized it, did it anyway. I believe I've come a long way, & trust isn't a black or white thing. While I don't "distrust" anyone, I use more caution. Where trusting myself is concerned, I'm not so impulsive, & at this point, I would say I "trust" myself about 97%? I expect that will go up & down as time goes by, but I feel it's going in the right direction. (Just realized that trusting myself seems exclusive to "people.")

I was going to say no, because I have learned a long time ago even in the things I excel at I make mistakes and I need to always be aware of that and do what I can to not get trapped into think I'm perfect or something, but that would be 100% trust, not trust just trust in myself.
And when I think of it that way, yes I trust myself. For instance in most cases unless I have proof that someone can do something better then I can, I will certainly trust myself over an unknown person in almost any circumstance. I certainly can and will make mistakes, but I don't get trapped into the belief that just because I make mistakes, I shouldn't believe that I trust can myself, and let someone else make my decisions.
Because even in the some of the cases when someone else might able to make a "better" decision then I can, I understand that I have learned a lot more from my mistakes then I have from the things that came easy, and I trust myself to become the best I can be in all circumstances, not the best that someone else might be in a given circumstance.

Hmmm, this could be a lengthy answer....
Do I trust myself to...
NOT beat the hell out of my boss when he desperately needs it? Yes, regrettably
NOT give in to pleasures of the flesh when I KNOW that to do so will more likely make my life more complicated than it already is? No....
NOT to overeat at holidays and self-induced pity-parties....um, no.
NOT to intentionally harm anyone else, including, but not limited to old people, children, plants, & animals? Yes. Politicians are considered fair game....
to clean the house when I really don't give a damn about those dust bunnies lurking under the couch? No....
to use my very best judgement given the experiences I've had up to this point in my life? Yes.
to treat others as I would myself? No....I treat others much better...
NOT to steal, lie, or commit fraud? Yes...but the IRS is not part of this equation, tho'.....
I would say, based on my answers, I don't really trust myself much at all....or do I????
Thanks for the thought provoking question...I enjoyed answering it. Hope someone out there gets a chuckle!

I don't always trust myself. There are certain fundamental beliefs that I have about life as far as how to make decisions in any circumstance. Once in a while I'll have a weak moment when I'll feel like doing something that I would not normally do. In such a case I don't trust my feelings. I always trust the basic principles that I have chosen to live my life by.

Well if you mean with KNOWLEDGE/information/answers, well then I guess we all should say NO, when you say "always".
I mean, if you mean TASKs as in driving a car or shooting a basketeball, we all may say NO at times, I mean we try to do the best we can with keeping the car b/t the lines or shooting the ball thru the hoop, but I mean sometimes we do not make it in.(now with DRIVING that is more of a serious issue that/where you may place others at risk if you are too "whacked out"... and so you should not drive sometimes if you are "too far gone".
Now there may be situations where you wonder if the "THOUGHT" you just had came from YOU or if it came from the guy who is walking by yous' after shave.
WHAT IS TRUST to a DIRTY GLASS OF WATER?

It's always best to trust yourself for situations you are in. Simply because you created the situation for yourself and know the reasons that caused it..whether pleasant or unpleasant or just something routine and inevitable. Also, you would look for a certain outcome from the decision you take and it's only you that can choose the best possible method to reach that result. Also, it's just you that can ensure no harm comes out of a decision...so, its best to trust yourself. We all do what is best in our own interest, though sometimes, results may be dissapointing.
I do take advise from others to ensure that I have not missed on any detail and once I take a decision, I stick to it and trust myself ONLY.
Trusting others in various circumstances has many unpleasant features: For one, we end up disclosing something about ourselves to the other person. This can expose our weakness to the other, who is later free to exploit it to their advantage. Secondly, trusting others too much diminishes our own capabilities sub-consciously.
So, go ahead and trust yourself. It's the best person you can ever trust.

I don't know if this is where you are going, but I have always trusted my instincts and ability to make the right decision for me. I cannot trust myself with a box of Ding Dongs, but in things that matter, I trust my judgment, instincts, actions and abilities without doubt or hesitation. I know my actions or whatever are not done with malice or ill intention, and I my actions or perceptions are guided by experience, knowledge, common sense, and sometimes, just "that feeling." So far, I'm good with myself, I would trust me with me.

Do I trust myself? I do not trust myself, my hunch, feelings all the time. But there is one thing I trust about myself. I made some decision, choice in the way that makes me feel comfortable with or feel happy so that I could minimize the regret as much as possible even though things do not work out at the end.

Yes, I trust myself in most of the thinks but yet sometimes have to think twice in business and have to ask someone else too for more or correct answer. My trust in myself have put me to the place where I wanted to be. My own boss. You can be too. All you have to do set your mind on whatever you want to and you will get it. Only if ou really want to.

No. I don't trust my judgment in choosing men. First, I married a bigamist. He was a smooth talker & very charming & I was 19. Now I steer clear of that type.
Then I got involved in a 4 yr relationship with a man who was a womanizer.
Then I had an affair with an old boyfriend who was married.
Finally, I decided to read & develop hobbies instead of seeing men.
Other than that, I trust myself.
