hello everyone! im in a bit of confusion right now at my job, there' a fellow co-worker(supervisor) that tends to critique me about something. today, for example, i recently had my hair styled and many gave me compliments, when she saw my hair she had to negatively comment about it has happened before. she asks me personal questions like i do i have a boyfriend and i give her short ended answers. she also questions why i stay to myself. what's her problem?

If this is a supervisor, she has no business asking you personal questions about your boyfriend. And she needs to be careful about negative comments or she can easily create a "hostile work environment." Unless you are being over paid and under worked at this job, I would consider finding another job. If she has taken a dislike to you or is jealous of you in some way and she is your supervisor, it will only escalate. You can't enjoy this so do yourself a favor and find another job where you will be appreciated and treated with respect.

She's a busy body, who is either a pain in the can by nature and lacks certain social graces. She also may be trying to get under your skin, hard to know without observation.

Best bet, she is passive aggressive with self esteem issues.

Either take the high road and ignore her, or wait for her after work and take her lunch money. Figuratively speaking.

Personally I wouldn't give her the satisfaction.

This is your supervisor? She has no business asking you these questions. I could be totally off my rocker, but say something. For example, say that you are not comfortable answering those types of questions. Maybe she will get the clue and stop asking you all of these personal questions.
