I don't know that they can 'feel' love, but certainly all the talking to him will make him know and love the sound of your voice when he is born, and you will feel more connected to him.
I did love your post! It was so sweet! You are going to be just the best mommy ever!

Yes, he can feel it. He can hear music and recognize voices, and detect the tones and feelings. I think he can feel the love.
Congratulations on your soon to be son. That's an incredibly special feeling. From here on out, always enjoy each moment as it happens, because it will all slip away before you know it. I had my own little boy, and it was the most tremendous experience of my life. He is now 25 and has just given me a beautiful grandson.

I absolutely think that they can. Just like they can feel their mothers stress, I think they can feel her joy and love as well.
I actually learned in one of my psych classes that the way that a baby is conceived can affect their psyche after they are born. Babies conceived out of violence or rape are affected by it, or if the parents were drinking heavily or using drugs when they conceived. Even if they didn't use drugs or alcohol at any other time. They did studies on it and it's just amazing how much babies are affected by EVERYTHING before they are even born.
Keep giving your baby lots of love! Congrats!

YES!! There is a great deal of research to support that by 16 weeks gestation, babies feel a variety of "outside world" sensations. The article I most recently read said that babies can sense marital discord between his or her parents!! So stay relaxed, keep loving your baby up... It's all good for him. :)
Congratulations on your upcoming birth!!!

He feels it more than you know sweetie.
Continue doing what your doing and more, try laying down in a really dark room as you get further along and have a flash light against your belly and talk while he sees the Light you'd be amazed of how the baby will react. my children rolled, kicked and did summersauts lol.

Why of course the baby can feel love, when you rub him, read to him, sing to him or just talk to him he feels it, soon he will be able to detect your voice, and others who talk to him.
Midwifes encourage you to talk to your unborn child, because your voice soothes him when he is born. Remeber there is no love like a mothers love!(Or Father)

Great question. I know that the baby is susceptible to the stress the mother feels. I dont know about love however. That would be awesome if they could

I know my friend's wife said that the baby felt pain when he kicked her in the stomach while she was drunk and didn't make dinner when he came home from work. So, maybe they can feel love.
