I've been there! We talked about it and he said he would start to help out more. That lasted about half a day. Then I was gone for 4 days helping my sister move and he had to watch our son. After actually going through it alone he understood why we had our talk. Now I don't even have to ask him to change a diaper or get him ready for bed. Now if I can only get him to take out the trash.....thats a real challenge !!

Do you still love him? Sit down and try to share tasks, from picking up from daycare to buying milk. If you have done this for several years and are tired of being a single mom, then just become a single mom. It won't be any different, except you will get child support and will have more room in your bed. Your call, I did this and finally filed for a divorce.

If you can afford, get a full time maid to help you. If not, try to talk with your husband and maybe distribute the heavy work load half to him. As he shares the house with you, he has a share in the housework too. Tell him that. He needs to understand that. Good luck.

You trained him to be that way. Train him to help. Use sugar, not spice. He'll help. If sugar doesn't work, use a baseball bat. But don't leave him and DON'T accept his excuses for why he doesn't help. If he works all day though, don't ask him to do too much.
