OMG...YES....
I am 33...have 2 kids....been Married & Divorced...have lived on my own for a LONG time now....
Mom moves in with me last yr..& all of a sudden I am 15 again...she tries to put curfews on me...she tells me to clean my room....tries to tell me who can come into my house...who can spend the night with us...or anything....when she tries to tell me how to take care of my kids...I draw the line....
I love her dearly though...& know that she just wants what is best for me...

Until last Sunday, I would've said yes, absolutely!
But things changed in my life, and I was reluctant to confide in them for exactly that reason... Instead, I hid the truth from them for 3 months while I dealt with my problem maturely, but finally came clean, as I really missed being able to tell them everything.
Remarkably, they respected my choices, were impressed that I had taken it upon my self to handle it, and finally grateful, that I felt I could share with them! All in all, the most liberating conversation we've ever had, and we now have a new level of respect for each other.
Of course they also ended the call with the traditional "we love you, and BE CAREFUL!!!"
:D

I'm also in my twenties and my parents do the same thing to me, especially my dad. Fathers seem to think their kids don't grow up.
