I have a large paper-mache bear with a salmon. It was out all winter and it is chipping. How can I repair it?

You know that papier mache is just paper and glue, right? they're not weather-proof. But the laquer might be worn off, since it was outside in the weather. So you could try making your own papier mache and patching it, then re-painting if you can match the colors.

well paper mache is easy to make its like homade past,but im pretty sure if its just chiped you could and probably should use either a water proof non shrinking spackle or maybe even some plaster take your time aplly in small even coats to build it up to where you want it...
