I paid about 50 for mine but the prices vary depending on what kind you get. I think there's like 5 different kinds and several different versions of each.
Here's the link to check the prices at walmart.(remeber prices may vary a little)

you would be wanting a replica of an installation CD from somebody, because it has somewhat piece of application that manages and exams the relationship between your computing device and the internet. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, using fact it is not rather tied via serial quantity to a minimum of one router and one computing device (familiar) you could snag a replica from any chum who has a Linksys router. Fetch it, and installation would be a breeze - quarter-hour, max! as quickly as you unplug each and every thing, then load the CD and keep on with on-demonstrate screen training, pop, yer up. additionally, the Linksys help people are friendly, affected person, efficient. you could assume them. in the previous you call, study that little tiny serial quantity on the backside of the router and function it to hand.

Linkseys routers run about $40 dollars for a basic 4 port wireless. I have one and hate it. The software sucks and the hardware often fails to configure to my computer. I have had to replace mine twice! I would suggest the Belkin. I provided the link below. It is the same price.
