me being 5"4 and the daddy being at 6"5 (and still growing) our baby is only 12 - 13 weeks along and at 10 weeks + 3 days to 11 weeks (acording to the ultrasound) bub was measuring at 4.18cm, i dont know where to get the weigh of it from (1st pregnancy) but it looks kind of "danty" like a little girl.
what do you think it will weigh in at?
im due in late september i was 3 months premmy and the father weighed in at just over 7lb's i think...
who do 1st children usually take after the mummy or the daddy?
(my sister took after my dad and her son took after her, i guess its unpredictable...)

At this point, its hard to tell what the baby will weigh. That depends a lot on genetics of the both of you, your body, and if you have any problems along your pregnancy. As far as what traits your baby will have once she is born....depends on genetics too of course, and will be a mix of the traits of the both of you. Certain traits are more dominant than others: Brown hair is dominant over blonde, strait over curly hair, and darker skin tone ad eye color over lighter. By 20 weeks they can usually tell you if you will be having a boy or girl; providing the little one cooperates. Good Luck!, and have fun!

it really hard to say who the baby will take after. if the ultra sound is showing only a two-three week difference that isnt out of the norm or your dates could be wrong, it doenst mean the baby is going to big (not this early on) your child should have blue eyes, i have been told that if both parents have blue eyes they can only have blue eyed children alothough dont quote me on that. also the baby may not look like either one of you, the baby could resemble a cousin, a grandparent a great aunt, you just never know. also they say the girls take after the fathers mother (ur hubbys mom) and boys take after the mother father (your dad)

You can never tell. It will have traits of both parents. If one of you are brown eyed and the other is blue, the baby has a higher chance of being brown eyed.
My older sister took after my mom in looks and I took after my dad. Me and my two sisters are all between 5 feet and 5'2" in height like our mom and our brother is over 6 foot tall like his dad.
It is all up to chance and genetics.

Just wait and see. I'm 5'2" and my daughters father is 6'1" and my daughters going to be 2 yrs old tomorrow and shes already past my waist by an inch in a half. She also weighed 5lbs 14oz 19in long at birth, so she kind of got it from her father. Good Luck!
