How do I tell this boy I like him?

I've liked this cute guy at my school that I've known how a few months now. I think he's cute and funny. Sometimes he makes gestures at me during class (not the mean kind either). Only probably is he's always obsessing over his hobby which happens to be journalism. He's like the biggest nerd of it and I can't even hold a decent conversation with him without having journalism brought up into it. What should I do? Just tell him or back off?

No, do not tell him that u like him....what u do is just keep casually talking to him and maybe something will set off a spark and he will show interest in you. Let him make the first move. That way you can save yourself any embarrassment in case he isn't the least bit interested. It sounds like he is more into his hobby right now then girls, but that doesn't mean he won't change his mind. So for now just be his friend and get to know him and go from there. Good luck

i think he didn't have any interest in getting involve in any relationship with you except as good friends because as you said he always talk about journalism and not about your relationship or something that u both like.but the main point is he loves to share things that he loves to do with u.take it slowly and learn bout him.respect what he loves and try to enjoy what he likes.don't back off,it wont help u..when the right time comes(i meant when he notice that u like him and he shows positive signals to u),then u tell him..

If you like him you'd better tell him or if you're too shy give him clear proper signals. If you back off how will you know how he feels about you. By telling him or making him understand at least things will be clear, either its positive and everything will be fine or its negative and you'll move on to something else ( which might turn out to be better).

I don't know what to tell you but you know you don't want to make a fool of yourself in front of him. I mean you have to give respect what if he does not like you, of he does. I think you should use a friend to find out. But i don't think you should tell him straight up.

well just be true to your self just tell him you like him, there's nothing wrong with that.. ...if he rejected your feelings toward him then you'll know what we mans feels once rejected by girls
