I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach and it is really unnerving. i get it often and sometimes it is worse than others. it seems to pop up out of the blue and hang round for a few hours a day or sometimes even a week. it is really weird and it makes me feel confused, sad, andgry and just plain down. i really don't like it and i wish i knew why i got it.

O.K. I'm not trying to freak you out... but this happens to my mom. She has learned that it is a "sixth sense" of sorts. She senses when something bad is going to happen. Though she doesn't know what, when or to who. She just gets an uneasy feeling that makes her sick to her stomach, upset, restless, and on edge. I don't know how much you believe in that sort of thing, but don't fear it, learn from it!

I'm no doctor but it sounds to me like you're having panic attacks. It can happen for no reason at all. Go see your doctor and get some medication.

Sounds like anxiety to me. Not severe enough to be a panic attack, they can make you feel like you are dying. However, continued anxiety can lead to panic attacks. You need to see a doctor.
