No, I've lost a niece and a very close friend from full blown aids. That was a long time ago. I know there are treatments now that are so much better than what was offered then. So, it's possible. I had to add more to my answer because of what some one said about aids and not knowing anyone whose gay in the bible belt. Aids is not a gay only disease, it effects every walk of life. Innocent babies and children. My nieces was from a blood transfusion. So, lets live in the real world now OK. Please don't make remarks concerning something you know nothing about. And even if say it were a gay disease that doesn't make it ok. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Why would it be ok if it only effected gay people. Some of my best friends have been gay.

I can honestly say I don't know anyone with AIDS, or anyone who is gay. I live in a small city in the Bible belt, lol. If someone had AIDS they would probably move to a larger city where there was more help available to them and people who are gay keep it really quiet.
