What do you think of the word "Time"?

Question

how important to you is Time? I'm making an 8 page paper on the topic "time" I'm on page six and running out of ideas. I personally belive that time is one of the most important things/words in the world. What do you think about time. Just think... Please be aware that I want your ideas not definitions that have been copied and pasted. If you don't mind, please state your name so I can quote you. If you don't want me to, then let me know. I'm also just flat out curious as to how important time is to all of you...

Time is very important....it adds discipline and structure to our daily lives. Time gives us the ability to keep track of past present and future. Time lets us know our "time" here on earth is limited. Just quote me by y/a's member G. Please. good Luck w/your paper! G.

Time is a broad subject for a paper. Have you written about the different ways time is perceived? If someone is doing a task which is fun, time seems to speed by, but when it is laborious, time seems to go very slowly. Another sub-topic could be the fact that certain processes use minute amounts of time, such as nanoseconds. Linear acccelerators, which smash together particles to see what is produced by the impact, make new particles that last a very, very short time.
Finally, have you discussed the different ways time is broken up, i.e., eons, centuries, decades, years, etc. How about including the different epochs of time, such as the jurassic, cenozoic, etc.? Time is used to measure everything from the speed of objects, the runners in the race, the amount of cooking time something needs, etc. Much of what we do is governed by time and deadlines, such as going to school or work, having a specific period to accomplish a task, etc.

2. It's important to manage our time well.
3.We all need to work and sleep but we should always have time for fun and those we love.
4. It seems time goes by faster the older you get.
5. If you want some one to help you, ask a busy person, they always seem to get things done.
6. Being on time is important. Folk who are continually late are rude and annoying.

Then there's that biological clock thing.
Time is important at work and school (deadlines).
Time accounts for how a person looks (ages).
Time on a job usually means promotions, or retirement.
Time is limited for those who are critically ill.
Time should be used wisely, no one knows if they'll be here tomorrow.

Time is just a word. It has no true meaning or purpose. The flow of time keeps things moving forward as they should. The usage of time in modern terms is used for power over the mass of society, to control their daily routines. If it weren't for the modern usage of time, the flow would be smoother and more accurate. Why the word 'time' itself was chosen, though, is, and probably always will be, a mystery.
