I see this question was asked before but not the same. I want to buy a home pc and in the past I custom ordered pcs but I am not sure that is best anymore and I am tired of Gateway. Compusa is near my home but not sure they are very good. I like good benchmark tests and like to be on the cutting (bleeding) edge of technology if possible. In the past I always get conflicts from slapping together a pc.
Any ideas which is best... a custom built pc... and from where or a store bought pc and from where? I got a laptop but now want a home pc. I would consider a unix but it must run windows and be ibm compatible.
I know there are lots of options so no need to list items maybe but i do gotta have the new double sided cd burner and in the past I liked dual processors.
Thanks,
