Is it only a matter of time before extreme conservatives resort to violence against liberals?

I'm talking about the EXTREME ones... mind you...

but we see them on here... talking about how liberals are terrorists...

if they are terrorists in their mind... wouldn't the next logical step be to kill the terrorists?

I mean if I thought someone was REALLY a terrorist... seriously... I would want to kill them...

And... most clearly have NO problem with violence or justifying violence... and have a very "group think" oriented mentality...

granted most conservatives would probably be horrified by the idea... but is it possible, in consideration of their views, their hostile nature and their "liberals are the ultimate evil" ideas?

and seem to own guns.. and often think they are the ultimate moral authority...

what do you think? am I being paranoid?

and I'm talking organized, structured violence...not just beating some kid up on a whim kind of thing...

uh... PETA never blew up a building in OKC... that was some crazy militia guy... most of which are conservative... but they have done some things... granted

and I don't think it will be a widely accepted phenomenon, that will sweep the nation or anything...

and again... I'm talking about the .5 percent of wacko conservatives...

and yes, I'm aware both parties have their wackos...

I don't think they are geared up for that extreme yet, but I think they are capable of it. Let's see how things progress as it comes closer to Bush's 'end of times'.

I think there are nut cases that would do that on an individual basis. But as far as organized violence against liberals, I think it's not likely. Anything that is a real threat to the status quo has always instinctively been fought against in an organized fashion by society, but that's not from just prejudice (or even dislike); it's from trying to prevent radical change from happening.

Your argument is pretty airtight...it will be amusing to see them wriggle their way out of this one. It seems to me that it really isn't too far of a leap when I see some of the posts on here. You're making me paranoid now...now you're making a liberal want to go out and get a gun, lol.

Of course, after we enslave the Liberals and actually make them work, THe Conservatives would fracture into several groups. I'm planning to go after the Neo-Cons afterwards.

i think you are paranoid...liberal groups tend to be more violent than conservative ones...look at peta and some environmental groups and the violence they resorted too...
