sounds like this person has had a really horrible life. but thats all behind her now. she needs to take all the horrible experiences and try to help other from her experiences. dont look back look forward. the possible disorders could rang anywhere from ptsd, social anxiety, trust issues, abuse issues, personality dosorders, and so on.
if shes still dealing with these horrible experiences she needs to seek a psychiatrist and get help.

I am sorry that you had such a hard time. It can cause many problems besides Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. It can cause a Borderline personality or multiple personality disorder. I went to an Adult Children of Alcoholics group and it helped me so much. They all got a kick out of me when I introduced myself because the first thing I said was, "But you all look so normal". There were people from all walks of life there including teachers, nurses and doctors and they all said they laughed because that is exactly how they felt when they first went there. I am on a light dose of Zoloft and that keeps me from feeling like I am being choked. Stress stuff you know. What kept me level headed was knowing God was with me and I didn't walk alone. It is not God's fault that negative selfish people made bad choices in my life that affected me. I was lucky to find Him and lean on Him during the really hard times. We all have scars of some sort or another. You can be destroyed by it or you can allow it to make you a better and stronger person who will be a blessing to all you meet. The Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, the very hairs of your head or numbered and you have at least one gift. It also says to love others as you love yourself so it is very important that you learn to love and like who you are so you can genuinely learn to love others. God bless you Sweetie, a lot of us have been there. Mmm

All disorders are possible given the right stimuli. We are amazingly adaptive...I would suggest depression and paranoia with possible fears of being alone, shut-in, and victimized where she is most vulnerable...possibly sexually. Scars indicate healing...but also a memory of the wounding. An adaptive procedure would be avoidance of similar situations that are potentially painful. Sort of like running away when no one is chasing. Over eating and a possible frenetic approach to having freedom and fun...these side effects do not necessarily have to develop into extreme behavior patterns but may be blatant enough to cause distress. Might help to join a healing circle and talk it out.

The girl is lucky to be alive after all of that and she is definitely a survivor. When she feels the courage, she needs to get professional help. She will feel better, and learn how to live freely without secrets. She needs to find a therapist she can learn to trust. I would advise her to call a women's victim center or shelter and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist who could order an evaluation, much like the one written here. There is no reason to try to make sense of all of this abuse and tragedy alone. Best of luck to her, wherever she is tonight.

Too many conditions to count. PTSD, ulcers, attention deficit disorder, depression, suicidal behavior, split personality disorder, sexual mistrust or sexual promiscuity, avoidance of relationships. This person should really seek therapy and a through medical evaluation to be sure there are no lasting effects physically. Plus it might be good to talk to cps to be sure that the step mom can't loses all of the other children she has.

Much less than what happened to her has made people crazy.
But she is still going and trying to live her life.
It will be hard, but if she can smile at all and bring some joy into another person's life, then she has a chance to be happy.
I hope she is very blessed.
ps. She must see a counselor of course

I am truely sorry for you, Jesus wants you to trust in Him, now you are no longer small and can care for yourself? Jesus is all. You could benefit from spiritual counseling. Dear Girl I love you and Christ loves you, He saw it all, and He will always be there for you. I believe you do not have to have a sickness now because with God all things are possible--even happiness for you. Look at the blind people, those with no arms or legs, all around we see suffering. Do you have a dog you can hug and love? there are animals in places that need your love and care, I will pray for you.

a person could end up w/ many disorders; trust issues, self-esteem issues, abuse issues etc. the important thing to remember is that there are just some terrible people out there, and, if you are exposed to them it is not your fault, it is THEIR fault. and that there are also good people in the world. and you can be a good person, too. you make your own life when you grow up. you can surround yourself with people who love you, and stay away from people who make you feel bad. LOVE yourself & DECIDE that your life will have a happy ending.make that happen because you deserve it.
