Yeeehaw, there is no better passer that's for sure. I can't wait to see what the striker Landon Donovan will do with Becks' superb passes, he will need to finish them or the former will be finished, know what I mean.

2001 - Luis Figo
2002 - Ronaldo
2003 - Zidane

I don't follow soccer. I don't think there is a best player in the "world". Maybe he is in "London". Or was. But I heard that Tom Cruise had some doings about him coming to the states. The Beckhams are now becoming Scientologists and Tom Cruise has been meeting with him often in the last year. It's all about money, not the sport itself. I find that sad.

Is he the best player in the world? Not hardly, not even in his prime... Is he the best cash cow for soccer? Yes.. He is actually rather talentless, but he's very marketable with his looks.. Doesnt hurt to be married to a pop star either, well former one to say the least... All he brings to the table is publicity... I give him major props for that.. He's brought focus to soccer, but sadly, not for his impectable ability..

No. His is not the best soccer player but his is one of the good player in Euro. He was talented but yet to admit as the best player. He was unique in the ways of his crossing, freekick, and with his expanded view in passing ball...... could help their team in passing ball to the front which can give a pressure to the opposite.

David is definitely the best soccer player in the world. He rules man, but that doesnt mean i dont appreciate ronaldhino or zidane, but the fact that david had become the highest paid soccer player in the world is one of the best reasons for him to be announced as "The living Legend" . He has a very gorgeous wife and lovable kids. What more could he ask for??? But for him moving to USA?? I personally think that its a move that he should be thinking a million times. Living in Paris is not only best for david but for his family especially his kids.. They may love the limelight that they will be experiencing in USA but will it be good for his children ???

no becuse i dont think if he ever had been the best player of europe or world and there are players like ronaldinho or c.ronaldo or even cannavora that are way better than him and us does not have good teams so not a strong team is going to buy him.
