How did you & your partner meet?

I met my fiance through work *blushes* ...He was my supervisor...

Sometimes it's nice to hear & share stories of how you met your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend.

i was a midnight cashier at a speedway gas station, and he came in for cigarettes, as soon as i saw him i knew he was the one.

I met my boyfriend through my older brother.. he went to high school with him.. We always knew of him because he was my brothers "crazy friend" who was funny and wild.. I always had a crush on him and once my brother had a party and I was "allowed" to hang out for a while.. and well we were drinking - I was only 15 and he was 20 (goodness this sounds bad) anyway things got a little crazy and we had sex in the back of his buick (gees, really bad sounding here) it was my first time but I was so embarassed/nervous that I didnt even tell him that - anyway, I never really talked to him after that or heard anything about him - he moved back to Boston (we lived in Montana) and it wasnt until 6 years later he met up with my brother at my aunts house and saw my christmas picture on her fridge - he asked my brother "omg, is THAT your sister?" he said from then on he couldnt get my "beautiful face" out of his head.. and as soon as I heard this from my brother I sneeked a peek into his cell phone and got his number - I texted him and it went from there.. We now have been together for almost 2 years and Im happier than ever! :) (and yea, he now knows that our buick experience was a little more special than others he might have had!)

I met my husband on a blind date. He saw me when he was with one of my classmates at my job. I really didn't notice him, but he thought I was cute. My friend wanted to date his friend, and he said he would arrange it, if she got me to on a date with him. I declined at first. She keep bugging me, until I said, if he has has the nerve to call me and talk to me, and we can carry on an interesting conversation, I would agree to meet him. That way if I thought he was"UGLY", I knew we could at least have am intelligent conversation, and I would not be miserable the whole date. He called. We talked for 2 hours. The date was WONDERFUL! We meet the las Friday in of Sept.1980, I was 17 years old. I turned 18, Oct 7th, 1980, and we were married Nov 29th, 1980. We only knew each other for 2 months. We have been married 26 years now.

I originally met my husband when I was 14 and a freshman by the tennis court water fountain during 6th period PE. He was 17and a senior. We didn't hook up until I was a senior and he was a junior in college. I went to a party at his house while his parents were out of town and he smoked me out. It was love from then on. We've been together 10 years and married for over 5 years.

It may sound weird but I met my fiance through www.myspace.com. I was moving the fall of '06 to go to college and wanted to meet some ppl there before I moved so I would know someone and I came across his profile and emailed him and we started talking and once I moved we met in person and hit it off instantly and now we are planning a May 10, 2008 wedding....its amazing where you will find that special someone and where at in your life they will pop up....

I was filing for divorce and I stopped in a local restaurant for a turkey sandwich and coors light and he came over to me and started talking here he was the owner and I am a chef we just were made for each other We always joke I came in for a turkey sandwich and got the whole bird...we been together 5 years almost 24/7/365

His aunt is a good friend of mine who is actually only five years older than him and he and his sister happened to be up visiting. His whole family eventually moved up to my town and we became great friends. 8 years later, we got married. That was 2 years ago.

A long long time ago in a driveway far away...He was working with my brother, and they pulled up. He was 15 and I was a mere 12 - and I was hopscotching on the sidewalk! He said it was "love at first sight". We've now been married 24 years.

On the internet,3 years ago. My friends sent my picture to one of them personal websites, and signed me up (behind my back). But the joke was on them because i met my MR.Right. We've been married nearly a year now (and still Honeymooning).
