Example: the recent firing of 8 U.S Attorneys by the Bush Administration, is nothing when compared to Bill Clinton firing all 93 U.S. Attorneys just because Clinton wanted to eliminate two in particular and not seem political. He wanted to eliminate the U.S Attorney in Arkansas because of Whitewater, and also the U.S. Attorney investigating Dan Rostenkowski. And Janet Reno backed him up . Note no Republicans called for Reno's or Clinton's resignation. Your biased reporting and lack of perspective will drive me to a more balanced service.

Yahoo doesn't write the yahoo news articles... They purchase them from newswires - AP and the like.

And yet your question is thrillingly biased...

Clinton fired all 93 attorneys at the beginning of his tenure, just like GW Bush did, just like every president does. Each Federal Prosecutor knows that his tenure is only as long as the president he serves, with rare exception.

The difference in this case would be 8 firings of effective prosecutors for political reasons mid-term. There is also reason to believe abuse of changes to federal law allowing the indefinite appointment of temp prosecutors will happen.

It's not Yahoo, it's the media in general. "The Media Elite" is a book from 1986 that demonstrates most media people are liberal and that their private political views color the way they report on the news. The findings in this book are supported by a 2002 study, "Press Bias and Politics: How the Media Frame Controversial Issues."

There are many more studies that also support these findings.

i find the stories yahoo facilitates as a free service to cover a broad spectrum
my only complaint would be the stars rating
does 5 stars mean you agree it is a good thing or good [fair] reporting
would not think to recomend any news over any other
so what is the point but to rate my vote to the good reporting it is or by bias against it being reported?
how does yahoo judge [measure ] the stars vairiable rating
i suggest you rate the article you disagree with one star
[to record that you were interested but not feeling it a good /fair nor balanced case reported upon
no true facts or distortion of facts thus one point.
and of course five stars for being good at the right time [a truth][not the one point lie

Yahoo purchase the news articles like the other guy said. THE MEDIA IS FREAKING CORRUPT AND IS TRYING TO FORCE US TO THINK WHAT THEY WANT US TO THINK. i just ignore most of the news articles on not just yahoo, but more places. I stick straight to the facts that I know are and are not true in the world around us and I do not let the media control me.

All media is biased; FOX News leans significantly toward the right, Yahoo! to the left... the best and maybe only way to get straight news is to read everything and decide for yourself.

Well, get to driving. Make a left at the NY Post, Fox News is on the RIGHT.

Virtually all mass media have this bias; they learn it in journalism school. They hang out only with like-minded people, so they don't know there is another perspective. This is called "news judgment."
