Would 'trying out' the birth control patch ortho evra for 24 hours and then removing it off the skin cause you to have a period 5 days later? Can you obsorb that much hormones that quick to start or could this be an actual real period?
I typically do not have periods without the help of provera. I'm no longer taking it because the provera seems to have stopped. My doctor told me I could try bcpatch but I did and didn't like it so I took it off. I am not trying a natural herb called vitex and wasnt sure if mabye that helped? I just want to have a regular period and ovulate.

Well... When I was on the pill and if I forgot to take my pills I would get my period. If you're looking for a good low hormone birth control I recommend the nuva ring. I take birth control to regulate my menstrual cycle. Not because I wasn't having them regularly, but I was having paralyzingly painful ones. Try this one.. it might help. :)

i do no longer understand why you're doing that, yet, if that's what you pick, attempt the shot. I took it each and every 3 months and carefully stopped having a era. i did no longer have one for fairly much 2 years!!! i'm no longer standard now after being off the shot for 4 years, yet I wasn't standard till now the shot so that's not substantial. Oh, and that i took the patch for some months and that i had recognizing in between and that i attempted to make my era carry off a week by employing putting on a clean patch when I ought to have taken one off and that i only observed all week till now having a era for a week. I had terrible part consequences from the patch and my commonplace care dr and my gyno the two stated their sufferers had extreme part consequences as nicely.

You need to work with your doctor, even with the vitex.
