I live in a college dorm and we use a coed community bathroom. When I'm in there washing my face and brushing my teeth, people come in and out of the bathroom. Rarely does anyone wash their hands. Be honest, do you always wash your hands? Why?

I mean, I would think that people would be especially likely to wash their hands given that I am standing right there and I can see if they do or do not wash them!

I always wash my hands, but I'd be willing to bet most people don't. It's disgusting. You should always wash your hands after you go to the bathroom. Sorry to be gross, but you asked why.....
after you have a bowel movement and wipe the feces you get microscopic particles of feces on your hand that you can't see or feel...they're in the air..if that were to get into your mouth and you ingested it, you'd be seriously sick. Above all, wash out of courtesy to the rest of the world!

I work in a high tech company where everyone has at least a bachelors degree and most people have a masters or better and I have noticed that almost everyone washes their hands after using the bathroom.

I don't allways wash my hands when I go to the bathroom when I am in a real hurry but when I have some time I like to wash my hands because being with 3 doctors in one house you tend to learn some stuff from them about microbacteria and stuff like that. Also I was my hands because after words my hands feel all soft and nice

Yes, I always wash my hands after using the bathroom, and constantly remind my daughter to do the same. Anything less is just disgusting.

Yes I always wash my hands and because of the exact reason you list above, I usually open toilet doors and such with an elbow or a piece of paper towel over my hands. Gross. People must be walking around with urine fingers! Then they pick up your mug to make you a cup of tea. Absolutely festy.

while i'm at homestead i do no longer wash my palms after doing #a million except i'm getting waiting to prepare dinner. If i'm at homestead and that i could do #2 I continuously wash my palms after. while i'm out in public I continuously wash my palms after doing #a million. I hardly do #2 while i'm out in public, yet when I did i'd wash my palms.

ALWAYS !!!!! I also care germ killer in a small bottle with me to work!
You should tell your friends to wash there hands, they may touch something that belongs to you. Thats how diseases are spred.

we should always wash our hands after using bathroom to keep us free from germs. you know for sanitaty purposes.
