The old thinking is that they do not regenerate.
In new stem cell research, they have been able to regenerate brain cells.

When you say regeneration, I am assuming that you mean continued neurogenesis in the brain into and through adulthood. If so, then yes new neurons are born within the adult brain throughout life. However, whether they contribute in any functional capacity to the existing neuronal populaiton remains to be seen.

Nope, they do not. This is because braincells(any neurological cells) are G0 cells, meaning they do not go through mitotic division once they reach certain point, which is unlike other cells in our body.

the longest brain cells live to be at most 130 years when they die
thats why no one lives longer because they cant be remade
