How come some people just NEVER pose ANY questions, yet they will have 1000's of answers!?

I dont understand it!

I use this site for answers!

I answer myself only to ask another question, I dont care about the points! (silly to me)

I see people that are level 7 and have only about 59 questions they have EVER asked, and these will be question like : Who would like 2 points?

OR QUESTIONS LIKE :

TO BE OR NOT TO BE?

MAYBE THEY ALREADY KNOW IT ALL!

I've not asked a question yet and points don't bother me.I am new to computers and find Answers a fun and easy way to learn about everything.People have their own opinions on which virus and spyware to use for example and I have learned which ones to trust and which ones to steer clear of.
I find it much better than going on sites and reading or downloading something that I have no idea about and is not safe.
I don't look for anything in particular but if a question is asked and I want to know about it then I read the answers and it's been a big help to me, and if I know an answer to someones question then I answer it .
It may seem silly to someone who is computer literate but that's the way I do it.
One day I'll probably not find what I want and I'll ask but until then I'll carry on enjoying learning. My way.

if u r looking for an example: any ? i ask i know the answer. I only ask out curiosity of the answers that I get. plus people seem to think they feel the need [even when u tell] tell what is wrong . this kind of response is not what i look for. but it does no good to say . fear of answering is another reason people will not answer., even on hear.I can see the reasons for the problems of the world because of the answers& ?'s that r given. it is a unsavory sight to witness. so why do i still play here ? because this is one step up from boring. i have asked only 49 ?'s and 2/3 of those I deleted.

maybe they are so full of answers, they don't need to ask questions. there is nothing to gain by accumulating points, so losing five just for asking a question really doesn't hurt their total.

just an opinion. i don't care to have a gajillion points, i just try to offer answers in the rare case i have them

Well, I hope my 6 or 7 questions were a little more profound than that, but I don't ask much because I can't think of anything to ask. I can wise off for hours with the right stimuli, but as far as thinking of something original to ask? Nope. It just doesn't happen.

Some people prefer to answer questions, like me, and some like to ask questions. You no, we need both types of people to keep Y! Answers going.

well its kinda easy to explain.

If you have all the answers, you really dont feel there is anything to ask.

Plus my questions only get answered by like 3 people, or they get replies such as "yeah," when the question I asked involved a description.

the only time i post questions is if i think i'd like to know WHAT YOU know. most of the time i'm disappointed. sometimes i post a question just for laughs.
i prefer to make people laugh regardless of whether i'm asking or answering.
i always find plenty of questions to ANSWER , so why do i NEED to ask them? you have our permission to do as you wish, and i shall do as i wish.
